This Saturday (6th February 2010) at 11.00pm The Discovery Channel (SKY Channel 520) is showing a repeat of a programme I filmed and co-produced for Channel 5 in 1999. It is a 1 hour documentary called Dr Death and is about Harold Shipman who was one of the world's most prolific serial killers, murdering about 250 of his patients.

"Saturday 29th January 2010 saw the moon at its brightest and largest in appearance for this year. Know as perigee it was 14% larger and 30% brighter than a typical full moon as it came to it's closest point in orbit around the earth."

This months issue of South Warrington News saw my photo on the front page. Other stories where my photographs appear are about the restoration of Stockton Heath Police Station, Salon gets a new manager and new estate agency brings local expertise.

Hello and welcome for the first time to my blog. Let me wish everyone, previous clients and future clients a happy and prosperous New Year.

I am looking forward to this years wedding season with some new and exciting wedding albums soon to be added to my collection. I will be shortly adding more of last years weddings photographs to my website.

And don't forget if you prefer and book another photographer but still would like your wedding filmed then please still call me.

On the television side looking back on 2009 I was the first photographer/TV cameraman to arrive on the sceen of the murder in Sandymoor, Runcorn in December. My footage was shown on SKY News. It was about 1.00am in the morning and I had just travelled back from Lincoln after filming a story for Associated Press Television News.

Other highlights including  filming and editing a corporated film for Merseyrail and media training for Bolton Wanderers and photographs for their website,  but I think last years most successful and rewarding job was a corporate video and photo shoot for the Donna Louise Trust in Stoke with stars like Jo Brand, Nick Hanncock, actor Jonathan Willkes and darts player Phil Taylor taking part. Photographs and video clips will be uploaded to my website shortly.
